The 2020 AIP Summit is the first ever online summit devoted to the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) and every presenter is a practicing AIP Certified Coach.
AIP Certified Coaches are doctors, naturopaths, nurses, nutritionists, registered dieticians, therapists, health coaches, and other health care practitioners who have been trained on the science and implementation of the Autoimmune Protocol by Sarah Ballantyne, Angie Alt, and Mickey Trescott.
The summit is accessible from anyplace in the world with an Internet connection and completely free to attend. Recordings, transcripts, and bonus materials will be available later as an optional purchase.Reserve my seat for January 6-12!
32 sessions will be presented over 7 days, covering everything from "AIP 101" basics and cooking demos to deep dives into complementary treatments, scientific advances and medical studies, and practices that bridge the mind and spirit with the body for healing. Get actionable and practical tips from experienced coaches and leaders in the field.
This instructional summit is organized and hosted by Jaime Hartman, an experienced educator and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, who has lived with autoimmune disease since she was a teenager. In 2013, Jaime was one of the earliest people creating recipes for the AIP and sharing her experiences as she used the protocol to improve her quality of life on her blog Gutsy By Nature.
Essentially, it is just a fancy word for a meeting focused on a serious topic, and/or involving important decision making. In recent years, the word has been adopted in the online world to refer to virtual events that include many speakers, all focused on a single important topic. You might call it a conference, or a masterclass, but we decided to use the word "summit," along with the imagery of a sunrising over the top of a mountain summit because it invokes the idea of rising above with strength and finding new hope... which is just what we believe AIP will provide you!
Each day, starting on January 6 and for the 6 days that follow, 4 or 5 videotaped presentations will be unlocked for the next 24 hours. If you register and save your seat, you'll receive a special email link on the morning of each day that allows you to watch these presentations for free.
You can watch from anywhere in the world and on virtually any type of device.
If you miss a day, or see a talk you want to watch again, you will have the option of purchasing a recording.
AIP is shorthand for the Autoimmune Protocol. It is a science-based elimination and reintroduction diet and lifestyle protocol. It focuses on repairing gut health, balancing hormones, and regulating the immune system.
The dietary component includes removing food-driven sources of inflammation and restoring nutrient density, while the lifestyle component includes approaches to sleep, stress management, movement, and connection (both with humans and nature), in order to help best manage autoimmune disease. It has been used successfully alone or in combination with conventional treatments, depending on a person’s needs, and has even been the focus of medical research.
All of the presenters are AIP Certified Coaches.
