About the Webinar

Even just a handful of generations ago, humans were more likely to focus their energy on sheltering themselves from the harshness of nature than to seek connection with it. Human life is undeniably made easier and safer by the technological advances that have come during the last century, but environmental degradation and urbanization have their costs.

Today, more than half of the world’s population live in urban areas and advancements of the digital era have led to a substantial rise in screen time and time spent indoors along with a decline in outdoor activities, especially in the developed world.

A growing body of evidence suggests that various forms of being exposed to nature, such as living close to, frequenting or even looking at environments dominated by living material, are able to provide various positive effects on human health - particularly for people with autoimmune disease. But how do we access these benefits in the modern world? What do we do if the outdoor activities we once enjoyed are now out of reach due to fatigue, pain, or loss of mobility?

In this webinar, three experienced AIP Certified Coaches will answer submitted questions about connecting with nature and and share insights from their own experience and clinical practice in helping clients access the healing power of the natural world.
